Rescue ships get 1,000 ship migrants: Italy coastguard

ABOARD VOS HESTIA Shelter SHIP (Reuters) C Humanitarian recover ships picked up above 1,000 migrants out of nine rubber and also wooden boats over coast of Libya regarding Thursday, Italy’s coastguard said.

The Vos Hestia, powered by Save the Children, rescued more than 75 migrants, most of them from Bangladesh, with a rubber dinghy about 11 miles off the sea-coast of Libya in international waters.
